The Parish House was erected in 1956 and hosts our weekly Sunday forums, as well as events for up to 240 people. The addition of the Emily Norris Carey Learning Center and its chapel in 2016 added rooms for Sunday school, as well as meeting space for our various commissions and church meetings.
The lower level of Parish Hall is home to St. Thomas' Preschool, which has been educating children since 1951 in the Episcopal tradition, nurturing each child’s social, emotional, cognitive and spiritual development. St Thomas' 42 acres provides inspiration and learning to the children in the use of the campus throughout the school day.
Retreat to St Thomas was recently established to host organizations focused on spiritual, wellness, environmental, historical, the Arts and related fields who seek to gather in harmony for day retreats, workshops and classes. Space includes Parish Hall, The Emily Norris Carey Learning Center, and the Whitemarsh Learning Center.
