Adult Ministries

The Adult Spiritual Formation Commission (“ASF”) works with St. Thomas’ clergy and lay leaders to plan and manage a variety of spiritual formation opportunities. The commission welcomes volunteers for helping plan specific forums, formation opportunities, various spiritual formation activities for adults and intergenerational events. St. Thomas’ hosts book groups, where parishioners meet over several weeks to discuss spiritual/religious books they are reading together.

Advent and Lenten programs:

St. Thomas’ regularly offers special programs during the seasons of Advent (prior to Christmas) and Lent (prior to Easter).

RETREATS

A lovely way to slow down, reflect, spend time with friends and make new ones in a spiritual setting.

Women’s Retreat - January 24-26th 2025

St. Thomas’ Women’s Retreat will be held in Brinton House at the Pendle Hill Retreat Center. The cost is $350.00. Our retreat leader will be The Rev. Mary McCullough.

Men’s Retreat - February 7th-9th, 2025

Our retreat site will again be at Harvey Cedars, New Jersey, on Long Beach Island. The cost will be $260 for a double room and $380 for a single room. To reserve a room, send $50 to Rob Heerdt (2219 Twin Silo Drive, Blue Bell, PA.) telling us if you'd like a single or a double room, and if you'd like to share a ride.
