Dave is passionate about helping individuals and communities connect more deeply with God and each other. A priest and poet, Dave began his ministry in January 2024. Before St. Thomas’, Dave served at St. Mary’s, Tuxedo Park, New York, St. Mark’s, Jacksonville, Florida, and St. John’s, Tallahassee. He is married to Carol and has four sons: Daniel, Thomas, Michael, and Paul.

Our Minister of Music, Michael Smith, collaborates closely with the Rector to ensure excellence in worship and faith formation for all ages as an integral part of our music ministry. The Rev. Michael Palmisano
Priest Associate
Michael serves full-time as a school chaplain at nearby Episcopal Academy. He is passionate about bringing the Good News to people of all ages and in all spheres of their lives. He feels fortunate to live out his ordained ministry in a school community where he can teach, preach, and pastor and also coach cross country and track. Michael grew up at St. Thomas' and he and his wife Theresa were married here in 2017. They have twin daughters Rogan and Aline.
