How It Works: TeenText is different! Instead of providing youth with answers that “come from the Bible,” these resources meet the students where they are – grappling eagerly and passionately with growing up, becoming who they are. TeenText helps youth connect the text with their lives by helping them get out of their heads and into their hearts. The format encourages their ownership and continued exploration and application beyond the classroom. Meeting them where they are lowers barriers and invites connections. Junior High students meet in The Upper Room and Senior High students meet in The Youth Café. Both classes meet from 11:05-12:00pm. Adult leaders are needed.
We need Adult Leaders for all Discovery Hour classes. Each family is being asked for one parent to serve as an Adult Leader for one month during the year. All supplies and lessons will be provided for you. All classes must have 2 adults to be Safe Church compliant so you will not be alone.
Adult volunteers do NOT need to be parents, either. Do you know a college student, aunt, uncle, grandparent, or family friend who may be interested in leading a class? Send them to the links above or have them contact Erika Bower at firstname.lastname@example.org.
