I am writing to see how you are faring in the midst of the recent snowstorms and power outages. Our basement flooded, and we spent three days without power and still await to having our water heater repaired. I took the coldest shower that I can recall since summer camp in New Hampshire and wonder how we survived such cold showers as children.
Your church staff and entire parish care about your welfare and your well-being. If you are still without power or are facing any needs that we can assist with, it would be our honor to support you in any way that we can. Our church is a parish where every parishioner serves with a pastoral heart, and we long to serve and care for one another.
For some of us, this has been a week of pioneer living. It reminds us mildly of what countless people throughout the world experience on a daily basis, and it makes us grateful for our blessings, knowing that what we have briefly lost has or will be restored.
Please know that we also keep you in our daily prayers.
With love and blessings,
